Compliance

• Manage comprehensive compliance programs.
• Provide strategic direction for the compliance team and work with department heads to establish compliance priorities.
• Monitor regulatory developments and changes in the legal landscape to ensure the company remains compliant.
• Develop and deliver ethics and compliance training to employees.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to align compliance efforts with business objectives.
• Assess of all regulatory risks related to lending and business operations. Identify gaps in controls, highlighting areas of highest risk, and developing appropriate risk mitigation strategies
• Develop and maintain policies, standards, and other documented measures to formally set forth the principles and practices of regulatory compliance related to lending operations
• Work with business leaders and management to socialize lending compliance principles and practices and assist with developing procedures, systems, and processes to execute policy requirements
• Lead compliance oversight of programs for FCRA, FDCPA, MLA/SCRA, TCPA, EFTA, Reg E, Reg B, SCRA/MLA and credit reporting.
• Oversee monitoring protocols to assess and measure operations compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and identify defects and deficiencies requiring corrective action
• Ensure material compliance issues identified by any means and through any source related to lending operations are recorded, tracked, and reported to ensure their appropriate and timely resolution
• Prepare, deliver, and effectively communicate analysis and reporting regarding bank and lending operations compliance to oversight committees and management
• Serve as a champion for a culture of compliance and ethical conduct throughout the organization.
