About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Disciplinary and technical leadership and development of 13 employees
- Responsibility for material planning and the integrated operational procurement of mechanical and electromechanical components
- Ensuring the availability of mechanical and electromechanical parts while meeting time, cost and quality targets
- Intensive interface management with Production, Development, Order Management, Purchasing and Sales
- Continuous opportunity and risk management across the entire product and supply process
- Further development and harmonization of planning and operational purchasing processes, as well as planning and conducting risk and capacity analyses
- Comprehensive and regular reporting on KPIs, risks and countermeasures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed technical or business degree, or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in materials management and/or operational purchasing, ideally in an industrial environment
- Experience in both disciplinary (line) and technical leadership, including team development and motivation
- Knowledge of process design, change management and cross-organizational collaboration
- Very good SAP skills (MM, SD and CRM)
- Strong communication skills across different hierarchical levels
- Business-fluent English, both written and spoken
