About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Disciplinary and technical leadership and development of 13 employees
  • Responsibility for material planning and the integrated operational procurement of mechanical and electromechanical components
  • Ensuring the availability of mechanical and electromechanical parts while meeting time, cost and quality targets
  • Intensive interface management with Production, Development, Order Management, Purchasing and Sales
  • Continuous opportunity and risk management across the entire product and supply process
  • Further development and harmonization of planning and operational purchasing processes, as well as planning and conducting risk and capacity analyses
  • Comprehensive and regular reporting on KPIs, risks and countermeasures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed technical or business degree, or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in materials management and/or operational purchasing, ideally in an industrial environment
  • Experience in both disciplinary (line) and technical leadership, including team development and motivation
  • Knowledge of process design, change management and cross-organizational collaboration
  • Very good SAP skills (MM, SD and CRM)
  • Strong communication skills across different hierarchical levels
  • Business-fluent English, both written and spoken
