About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and implement sustainable category strategies for industrial supplies, tools, packaging, and occupational health & safety
Actively shape and optimize the strategic supplier portfolio by selecting, evaluating, and developing suppliers and service providers
Independently conduct thorough market and price analyses and manage tenders (sourcing); independently negotiate and conclude complex contracts at national and international levels
Collaborate professionally with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure efficient procurement processes
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while ensuring quality requirements are met
Lead procurement projects and actively contribute to the further development of procurement processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in economics, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in strategic procurement, ideally focusing on industrial supplies, tools, packaging, and occupational safety, as well as solid experience in evaluating and managing procurement projects
Proven negotiation skills
Good knowledge of procurement and ERP systems (e.g., SAP MM/SRM)
Structured working style, strong communication skills, and assertiveness
Business-level German and English language skills, written and spoken (approx. B2)
