Test Engineer – Electrical Safety

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assess and test the electrical safety of PCBs, assemblies, devices, and systems according to applicable international industry standards
- Develop design specifications for drive technology equipment
- Monitor and interpret electrical safety standards and advise on their implementation in products
- Perform measurements and tests related to electrical safety
- Prepare test reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent qualification
- Preferably several years' experience in electrical safety within a testing laboratory
- Knowledge of international electrical safety standards and tests (e.g., IEC 60204-1, IEC 61800-5-1, UL 61800-5-1)
- Qualification as a certified electrical specialist (electrically competent person)
