About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Implementing and extending solutions in the SAP S/4HANA environment — from requirement analysis to production deployment
Developing and delivering core functionalities via APIs for integration through integration platforms
Building and evolving an API abstraction layer to make existing S/4HANA functions usable across systems
Integrating applications to support real-time processes (e.g., pricing, availability checks, document provisioning)
Working closely with Application Architects on technical design and the further development of the target architecture
Ensuring quality, stability and maintainability through testing and technical documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
Solid practical experience in SAP development within the S/4HANA environment
Very good programming skills in ABAP and ABAP OO, plus an understanding of modern extension concepts
Practical experience in API and interface development, service-oriented architectures and SAP BTP or similar platforms
Knowledge of microservices architectures in the SAP context
Interest in modern technologies and integration approaches (e.g., in the context of AI and MCP)
