About the role
- Formulating and monitoring quality requirements for induction and synchronous motors and associated components such as brakes and encoders in development projects
- Embedding feedback loops from product monitoring, series support, and manufacturing processes into product development and new product ramp-up
- Organizing and moderating workshops with cross-functional teams to systematically identify and control failure risks, e.g., using FMEA
- Coordinating eco-screening of product designs to classify components according to the 9R framework and determining the Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) within the Eco-Score
- Analyzing existing processes and identifying optimization potential through AI-supported solutions
Requirements
- Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification
- Product knowledge of the operating principles of rotating electrical machines
- Experience in product development for series production is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of directives and standards in electromechanics (e.g., Low Voltage Directive, Machinery Directive, Eco-Design)
- Knowledge of Functional Safety according to IEC 61508 / ISO 13849 / IEC 61800-5 is advantageous
- Preferably, knowledge in product security
- Good written and spoken German and English
