About the role

  • Assess existing security architectures for automation systems, with a particular focus on OPC UA
  • Analyze the integration of different device classes, from sensors to servers
  • Design a long-term stable architecture, including a concept for establishing initial trust
  • Reconcile the developed results with applicable regulations (e.g., IEC 62443)

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field
  • Initial experience in the field of security
  • Very good command of English
  • Knowledge of distributed systems, embedded systems, or automation is an advantage
