About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the operation and growth of the Tankered Waste business in Bioresources
Provide a waste reception and control service and a customer point of contact across the Severn Trent Waters region
Work closely with Production colleagues on-site to provide a swift, reliable and professional service to customers
Ensure that samples of waste loads are taken and analytical testing is performed & recorded
Ensure appropriate paperwork and records are completed and dealt with appropriately
Perform consistent and effective process for acceptance or rejection of loads
Operate the waste discharge tanks onsite
Liaise with site operational staff on a daily basis
Record & compile data, produce reports and support delivery of relevant SLA’s / KPIs and requirements of the Tankered Waste Team & Manager
Work in other sampling duties as required such as for domestic waste

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven marketing experience at a senior level
Comfortable at working from multiple Severn Trent Water locations
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision making with key stakeholders
Hold a full driving licence
Great attention to detail and excellent communication/problem-solving skills
Awareness of water or waste industry and wastewater processes (beneficial but not essential as training will be provided)
