About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the delivery of proactive and reactive maintenance activities across Wastewater Recycling assets
  • Lead a team of highly skilled Electrical and Mechanical Technicians
  • Drive asset performance, reduce operational risk and deliver long-term improvements
  • Ownership of maintenance strategies that maximise asset availability, improve reliability and reduce whole-life costs
  • Lead and develop proactive maintenance approaches, including condition monitoring and predictive maintenance
  • Identify opportunities to bring more work in-house and reduce reliance on external contractors
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement, empowering teams to deliver high-quality maintenance outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum Level 3 qualification (BTEC, NVQ or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Proven experience leading maintenance teams within an industrial, manufacturing, utilities or process environment
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, reliability improvement and asset management principles
  • Experience developing proactive and preventative maintenance strategies
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A strong focus on safety, compliance and continuous improvement
  • The ability to analyse asset performance data and make informed maintenance decisions
