About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Operate assets on the network on behalf of the construction team
  • Assist and support the Network Construction Manager in scoping and delivery of Mains Renewal schemes
  • Work alongside the Lead Operative to deliver on-site activity
  • Undertake significant, large scale construction activity on-site
  • Conduct detailed surveys on DMA renewal options
  • Identify and health check key assets in preparation for risk & contingency documentation
  • Oversee the installation of pressure control valves on the infrastructure network
  • Responsible for operational activities on site e.g., flushing and cleansing of water mains and hydrants

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Full UK manual driving license
  • National Water Hygiene and NRSWA
  • Significant experience working within utility-based industry
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to build successful working relationships
