Environmental Engagement Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and lead delivery of the river’s community engagement plan across the business
- Within our GRP comms strategy be the comms go-to person for Bathing Waters, River-User groups and River Activists and lead on supporting and advising teams with communications and engagement
- Work close with broader comms teams to ensure consistency of message for river leisure users in all communications
- Protect and enhance Severn Trent’s reputation at all times
- Ensure a single brand strategy throughout all our communication channels
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrable communications/stakeholder experience
- Previous experience in managing stakeholder and customer communication channels
- Relevant experience working in service/utility sectors
- Strong influencing and customer management skills
- Customer-centric thinking and empathy for the audience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Hold self and others to quality, on-time delivery
- Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication
- Full, clean driving licence
- Some knowledge of river ecology and river health would be advantageous but not essential
- A passion for the environment and rivers would be helpful
