About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supporting the delivery of interim, full-year and quarterly results – including presentations, scripts, announcements and Q&A
Creating high-quality investor materials such as presentations, reports and website content
Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and shareholder movements, turning insights into clear recommendations
Producing reporting and analysis for senior stakeholders, including the Board and Executive Committee
Maintaining market consensus data and providing insight into analyst expectations
Delivering financial analysis, modelling and benchmarking to support performance storytelling
Supporting engagement with investors and analysts, responding to queries with clear, data-driven insights
Helping to plan and deliver investor events, including Capital Markets Days and site visits
Ensuring all external communications are accurate, consistent and compliant

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex information
Excellent communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
A proactive, self-starting mindset and a genuine interest in financial markets
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work at pace across multiple priorities
A collaborative approach, with the ability to build relationships across a wide network
Resilience, motivation and a strong team spirit
Experience in Investor Relations, financial reporting or corporate communications (preferred)
A background in finance or capital markets (preferred)
Knowledge of the regulated water sector (preferred)
An accountancy qualification (desirable, not essential)
