About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and build scalable data solutions that connect systems
Develop cloud-based data pipelines in Azure
Deliver intuitive Power BI dashboards
Support the development of an advanced analytics platform
Lead the development of data models, reporting solutions and automated workflows
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective data solutions
Ensure reporting is insightful, reliable and future-ready
Design and deploy Azure-based data solutions
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards
Enhance reporting through automation using Microsoft Power Platform
Take ownership of data quality, governance and performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong expertise in SQL, including data warehousing, advanced querying, and optimisation techniques such as indexing, triggers and functions
Solid Python skills (ideally with PySpark)
Good understanding of building and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines
Confident working with modern data visualisation tools like Power BI
Experience with data governance platforms such as Microsoft Purview
Hands-on experience delivering cloud-based data engineering solutions on Microsoft Azure (including Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Data Lake and Blob Storage) or equivalent platforms
