Network Technician
Severn TrentNetwork Technician focusing on sewer network and asset maintenance for Severn Trent. Collaborating with technicians and technical experts to ensure safe and efficient operations.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with other Network Technicians and Technical Experts to protect sewer network and assets
- Conduct inspections including Combined Sewer Overflow, Non-return Valve, Air Valve, Syphon and Oil Interceptor
- Lead and promote a safe working environment ensuring quality standards are met
- Identify and define necessary remedial works to ancillary assets
- Develop opportunities to mitigate the risk of network failures
- Investigate and respond to customer service issues and defect reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of a standard driving license (C1 or Class 2 preferred)
- Experience using technology for recording and documenting jobs (laptop and phone)
- Initiative and go-getter energy to solve problems and improve customer outcomes
- Positive attitude, caring character, and willingness to be part of a team
