About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Minworth Sewage Treatment Works team
- Develop and lead a high performing, multifunctional team
- Demonstrate effective, collaborative working relationships with stakeholders
- Operate and maintain all waste assets on site
- Manage a c£10m budget and deliver efficiency savings
- Contribute to company-wide strategy and initiatives
- Ensure compliance with environmental permits
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven track record in managing, leading and inspiring teams in a customer-focused operational environment
- Experience dealing with complex employee relations and performance issues
- Demonstrable experience in leading teams through periods of change
- Ability to work to targets and under pressure
- Good knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and performance metrics
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and procedures
- WAMITAB qualification (or willingness to attain one)
- Full UK driving license required for site travel
