About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide legal advice across a broad range of matters including commercial, corporate, regulatory, real estate, environmental and dispute‑related work
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and related documents
- Support projects and strategic initiatives alongside Senior Legal Counsel
- Gradually take the lead on appropriate matters as you develop your experience
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders by communicating legal advice in a clear, practical way
- Deliver legal training and awareness sessions to the business
- Help improve legal processes and explore new ways of working, including legal technology
Requirements
What you’ll need- A qualified solicitor (or due to qualify shortly), ideally with a broad commercial training background
- Interested in building an in‑house legal career
- A strong communicator who can explain legal issues clearly and pragmatically
- Collaborative, approachable and confident working with a wide range of stakeholders
- Curious, proactive and open to learning—especially new tools and ways of working
- Well‑organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities with support
- Experience or interest in legal tech or process improvement is a plus, but not essential.
