Post-Production Coordinator

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the end-to-end post-production workflow, ensuring projects stay on schedule from editor assignment through final delivery.
- Coordinate editors by communicating project expectations, creative direction, client goals, technical requirements, deadlines, and deliverables while ensuring they have all necessary footage, assets, references, and supporting materials to begin work.
- Build and manage production schedules, assign editing work, balance workloads, and proactively remove bottlenecks to keep projects moving and deadlines on track.
- Organize and maintain project documentation, assets, deadlines, and workflow updates, ensuring information in monday.com, Frame.io, and other project management systems remains accurate and up to date.
- Create and manage editor contracts, project agreements, and assignment documentation as needed.
- Monitor project progress, communicate updates, risks, blockers, and delivery timelines, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Review deliverables for quality, formatting, technical specifications, and alignment with client briefs before final approval and delivery.
- Deliver completed video assets on time while ensuring they meet client expectations and project requirements.
- Maintain a professional, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach while successfully managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment using tools such as monday.com, Slack, Frame.io, and Google Drive.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Economics, Data Science, Communications, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience as a Production Coordinator or 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced production environment (experience in a creative studio, agency, or video post-production environment).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and moving pieces at the same time.
- Calm, professional, and solution-oriented under pressure.
- You possess a direct, professional, and clear communication style. You know how to hold team members accountable, firmly but collaboratively.
- Friendly and collaborative demeanor when working with editors, internal teams, and other departments.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Experience using online workflow and communication systems such as monday.com, Slack, Frame.io, Google Drive, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of the video production and post-production process.
- Ability to communicate creative direction, timelines, and project requirements clearly to editors.
- Strong follow-through and ability to identify potential scheduling or communication issues before they become blockers.
