About the role
- Prevent, Detect and Respond to Cyber events to ensure the organization can continue to operate in a contested environment.
- Secure, monitor, and respond to threats using a variety of tools including: DefenderXDR, Splunk, Palo Alto, Zscaler, Fortinet, Crowdstrike, and IRIS.
- Analyze anomalous activity to determine methods and impact on systems.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on penetration testing for corporate cyber and programs cyber.
- Participate in organizational cyber security assessments, and continuous monitoring.
- Lead Incident Response and digital forensics efforts.
- Preparing internal cyber security reports in a timely manner.
- Collaborate and support cross-functional engineering team.
- Understand and support Zero Trust Architecture and implementation.
- Support the hardening of critical infrastructure, site visit and validations (NOCs/SACs).
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s (BS) Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of closely related experience/expertise in Information Assurance/Cybersecurity Systems Management; Vulnerability Analysis, Mitigation and Management; Systems Auditing, Information Systems, Forensics, Incident Response or Engineering Management; and/or Security Test & Evaluation.
- Must be a U.S Citizen with an ability to obtain minimum SECRET (S) clearance.
- Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team-oriented environment.
