About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide first-level technical support for all customer service/ teleport operation, installation, and maintenance processes at South Mountain Earth Station, Somis, California.
  • Coordinate team shift and task schedules.
  • Fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of the radio-frequency (RF) equipment
  • Perform component-level troubleshooting required on High-Power Amplifiers and other equipment.
  • Perform maintenance and repair on satellite antenna systems.
  • Assist the site manager in daily operations oversight as required.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3 years of satellite communication technical experience is preferred
  • 3 years of teleport/earth station experience is preferred
  • Technical or military training in electronics or communication systems
