About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define the vision and roadmap for accounting integrations, balancing maintenance of existing connectors with rapid development of new ones
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from identifying customer pain points and defining requirements through launch and post-rollout optimization
Collaborate with engineering on APIs, data mapping, and reliable accounting-system connectors
Serve as subject matter expert on AR, GL, tax compliance, and construction-focused ERP financial data
Reduce synchronization errors and financial discrepancies while maintaining a trusted source of truth
Improve onboarding speed for new customers
Partner with Support to reduce integration-related tickets through product design and documentation
Work directly with customers and collaborate with executives across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing
Leverage middleware and iPaaS solutions to bring new integrations to market, targeting one new integration per quarter

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years in Product Management, including 3 years specifically focused on accounting, ERP, or financial systems
Strong understanding of ERP and finance systems, including Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Vista, Spectrum, and other top construction ERPs
Proven track record of launching products quickly and iteratively
Effective and adaptive communication of complex financial sync logic to Controllers and technical requirements to engineers
Proactive problem-solving, ownership, and initiative in evolving priorities
Willingness to travel at least once per quarter, with additional travel as needed based on business needs
Must reside in one of the listed states: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, or Washington
