About the role
- You are responsible for the end-to-end commercial management of client engagements.
- You perform bottom-up price calculations and prepare proposals/quotes.
- You review order status and are responsible for resource allocation and coordination within the teams.
- You analyze project progress as well as related billing and ensure the proper closure of various projects for our international, well-known client in the automotive sector.
- Afterwards, you produce profitability analyses and perform post-project cost reconciliations.
- You act as a sparring partner and interface between internal departments, colleagues, the client, and business partners.
- You serve as the extended arm of financial controlling and continuously compile all relevant facts that affect the company’s financial situation.
- You support those responsible for results in achieving their targets.
- You mediate between client and agency perspectives with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Requirements
- Degree in business administration with a focus on marketing/communications, or a comparable qualification.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in account management within a digital consultancy or agency environment.
- Proficient with agency project management software and business intelligence (BI) systems.
- Experience supervising projects and colleagues, and facilitating discussions on business/financial challenges.
- Independent and reliable working style.
- Strategic and analytical thinking aligned with agency objectives.
- Strong communication skills, a hands-on mentality, team-oriented approach, and high adaptability.
- Solid MS Office skills (especially Excel) and a keen interest in financial figures and their implications.
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of information security and information security awareness.
