About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform desktop and field appraisal assignments according to client requirements
Provide appraisal reports consistent with client-driven turn times and high-quality standards
Provide quality review appraisals and handle quality control escalations
Perform quality control reviews on complex valuation reports
Troubleshoot, discuss, and independently resolve complex quality control escalations with field appraisers and lender clients
Assist on valuation projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Certified Residential/General Appraiser designation
High School Diploma/GED required; College degree preferred
Certified real estate appraiser in Michigan; only Certified Residential or Certified General appraisers considered
No trainee or licensed appraisers permitted
Experience appraising a broad range of property types, including those typical of the coverage areas
Sufficient computer skills to develop appraisal reports and communicate effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft software products
Ability to work independently
Commitment to development of quality appraisal products
Interest in appraisal innovation and integrity
Must be located within reasonable commuting distance of Detroit/Wayne County, Michigan
Appraisal expertise in Detroit/Wayne County, Michigan
Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future
M-F 8:30-5:00 availability
