About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete desktop and field appraisal assignments within established client-driven turn times
- Perform quality control reviews on complex valuation reports, including jumbo loans, private wealth/high net worth, and unique or complex properties
- Contact field appraisers to discuss and resolve complex or time-sensitive revision requests
- Resolve quality control escalations by coaching field appraisers, discussing concerns and options with clients, and keeping parties informed
- Understand, implement, and maintain current knowledge of ServiceLink policies and procedures
- Maintain thorough understanding of USPAP, FNMA, and applicable state regulations
- Maintain appraisal license(s) in good standing, including mandated CEU courses
- Meet ServiceLink quality standards for appraisal report completion and delivery
- Provide timely web updates on assignments
- Conduct site visits with professionalism in attire, appearance, and demeanor
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Certified real estate appraiser in Tennessee
- Certified Residential or Certified General appraiser; trainee or licensed appraisers will not be considered
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Experience to appraise a broad range of property types
- Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft software products
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
- Appraisal expertise in the Nashville or Knoxville, Tennessee market
- Located within reasonable commuting distance of Nashville or Knoxville, Tennessee
- Prior valuation experience with a major lender or AMC preferred
- College degree preferred
- Advanced designations a plus
