About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete quality desktop and field appraisal assignments within established client-driven turn times
  • Perform quality control reviews on complex valuation reports, including jumbo loans, private wealth/high net worth, and unique or complex properties
  • Contact field appraisers to discuss and resolve complex or time-sensitive revision requests
  • Resolve quality control escalations by coaching field appraisers and communicating with clients and involved parties
  • Understand, implement, and maintain current knowledge of ServiceLink policies and procedures
  • Maintain thorough understanding of USPAP, FNMA, and applicable state regulations
  • Maintain appraisal license(s) in good standing and complete mandated CEU courses
  • Meet ServiceLink quality standards for appraisal report completion and delivery
  • Provide timely web updates on assignments
  • Complete site visits with professionalism
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Certified real estate appraiser in Texas; only Certified Residential or Certified General appraisers considered
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Experience to appraise a broad range of property types
  • Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft software products
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
  • Candidates must be located within reasonable commuting distance of the Houston, TX market and have appraisal expertise in this market
  • Prior valuation experience with a major lender or AMC preferred
  • College Degree preferred
  • Advanced designations a plus
