About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform desktop and field appraisal assignments
- Provide desktop and field appraisal reports according to client requirements
- Provide quality review appraisals and handle quality control escalations
- Perform quality control reviews on complex valuation reports
- Troubleshoot, discuss, and independently resolve complex quality control escalations with field appraisers and lender clients
- Assist on valuation projects
- Meet established client-driven turn times and high-quality standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Certified Residential/General Appraiser designation
- Certified real estate appraiser in California; only Certified Residential or Certified General appraisers considered
- No trainee or licensed appraisers permitted
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Experience appraising a broad range of property types, including those typical of coverage areas
- Sufficient computer skills to develop appraisal reports and communicate effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft software products
- Ability to work independently
- Commitment to development of quality appraisal products
- Interest in appraisal innovation and integrity
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
- Must be located within reasonable commuting distance of Los Angeles / Los Angeles County, California
- Appraisal expertise in Los Angeles / Los Angeles County, California
