About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform desktop and field appraisal assignments
Provide desktop and field appraisal reports according to client requirements
Provide quality review appraisals and handle quality control escalations
Perform quality control reviews on complex valuation reports
Troubleshoot, discuss, and independently resolve complex quality control escalations with field appraisers and lender clients
Assist on valuation projects
Meet established client-driven turn times and high-quality standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Certified Residential/General Appraiser designation
Certified real estate appraiser in California; only Certified Residential or Certified General appraisers considered
No trainee or licensed appraisers permitted
High School Diploma/GED required
Experience appraising a broad range of property types, including those typical of coverage areas
Sufficient computer skills to develop appraisal reports and communicate effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft software products
Ability to work independently
Commitment to development of quality appraisal products
Interest in appraisal innovation and integrity
Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
Must be located within reasonable commuting distance of Los Angeles / Los Angeles County, California
Appraisal expertise in Los Angeles / Los Angeles County, California
