About the role
- Build and maintain dashboards and models to improve visibility into operational efficiency, delivery performance, and topline metrics.
- Partner with operations, engineering, and product teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
- Source and transform data creatively, even when systems are incomplete. Propose solutions and tools to streamline workflows.
- Act as an analytics thought partner, translating complex findings into simple, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Help define and track key business metrics, enabling data-driven strategy across teams.
Requirements
- BA/BS in a quantitative field preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in an analytics role (startup or high-growth environment strongly preferred).
- Proficiency in SQL (4+ years) and comfort with scripting in Python or R.
- Strong data visualization skills using BI tools (we use ThoughtSpot and Looker Studio).
- Experience with A/B testing, experimental design, and inferential statistics.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Comfort leveraging AI/GenAI tools to enhance analytics workflows.
- Knowledge of geospatial analysis techniques is a plus.
- Experience in logistics, marketplaces, or operations-heavy industries.
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive; able to prioritize in ambiguity.
- Experience with dbt and modern data governance practices.
- Proven ability to thrive on scrappy, fast-moving teams.
