About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the end-to-end proposal lifecycle from kickoff through submission
Develop proposal schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices
Track writing assignments and ensure accountability
Coordinate proposal artifacts across technical, management, and past performance volumes
Facilitate proposal status meetings
Interpret Instructions to Offerors and Evaluation Criteria section requirements.
Maintain structured compliance matrices
Track amendments and ensure incorporation of updates
Support integration of Win themes provided by Capture/BD
Draft and edit non-technical sections (Past Performance, Resumes, Corporate Experience, etc.)
Coordinate with pricing and the executive team
Prepare Color Team drafts
Incorporate reviewer feedback
Ensure document readiness for executive review
Oversee document formatting and production
Validate submission instructions and requirements
Prepare submission documentation packages

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, English, or a similar focus
5-8 years of federal proposal development experience
Minimum 3 consecutive years as Proposal Manager for a small to mid-sized Government Contractor
Experience managing $10M–$75M federal proposals
Experience with multi-volume submissions
Familiarity with FAR-based environments
Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent proposals
