About the role
- Proactively maintain, monitor, and improve core server infrastructure functionality
- Provide daily operational support for Windows virtual servers
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve server-related issues in a timely manner
- Perform hardware and operating system installations, upgrades, and migrations
- Plan and support software and hardware upgrades or migrations
- Maintain and support operating systems and related infrastructure software
- Develop, update, and maintain technical documentation and system procedures
- Follow established policies, standards, procedures, and best practices
- Provide cross-training and knowledge transfer to other server team members
Requirements
- Experience supporting Windows Server environments
- Hands-on experience with VMware virtualized hosting infrastructure
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in both individual and team-based environments
- Experience working in structured enterprise IT environments is an asset.
