About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and oversee the full project lifecycle of robotics development and implementation, from planning and feasibility to execution and post-launch support.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, resource allocation plans, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with engineering, software development, and operations teams to ensure project success.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with safety and industry regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, leadership, and technical teams.
  • Monitor project progress, conduct performance evaluations, and provide regular reports.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and drive continuous improvement within project teams.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and services.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in robotics and automation.
  • Lead technical design reviews and propose design solutions that align with business needs and industry standards.
  • Assess and communicate project status, manage escalations, and track potential risks and delays.
  • Support procurement processes by providing technical specifications and insights.
  • Willing to travel (70%) to locations in Europe and occasionally to international sites.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management within the robotics, automation, or industrial engineering sectors.
  • Exceptional communication skills; English at C2 level, German at B2 level or higher.
  • Strong understanding of robotics technologies, AI-driven automation, and system integration.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced work environment and coordinating with engineering contractors.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Experience with project management tools (Linear, Jira, Asana, etc.).
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus.
