About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, customize, and support the deployment of advanced robotic applications tailored to real-world industrial needs.
- Act as the critical link between development team and end-users.
- Adapt software and hardware for specific use cases, testing solutions in the field.
- Provide technical expertise to optimize system performance for complex tasks such as bin-picking and item manipulation.
- Debug and resolve application-level issues, collaborating with hardware and software teams.
- Conduct on-site testing of robotic applications to validate performance and ensure reliability.
- Provide technical support and hands-on training to clients and operators.
- Document application workflows and create detailed user guides.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in robotics application development or integration.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++, with experience in task-level software development.
- Experience working with clients to implement and refine robotic solutions.
- Proficiency with ROS 2 and simulation tools like Gazebo or RViz.
- Hands-on experience with robotic arms, grippers, and vision systems.
- Strong understanding of motion planning, perception systems, and kinematics.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application-level issues in both lab and field settings.
