Perform configuration management coordination and documentation to track and document baseline system configuration of the F-35A and integrated subsystems
Serve as focal point/file management custodian for AFLCMC/WJ, maintain electronic media and documentation per Air Force Instruction (AFI)
Attend and/or administer F-35 technical meetings (virtual and site)
Prepare analysis products, trip reports, and periodic reports
Provide recommendations, white papers, and PowerPoint briefs to support US Air Force JSF acceptance and airworthiness
Provide data recording and analysis of F-35 configuration; review and comment on JPO databases including CMPro
Develop written guidance and procedures for file management in accordance with AFI and maintain historical tracking
Provide detailed documentation management across Vehicle Systems, Weapon Integration, Propulsion, Mission Systems, OMS, HSI, Training Systems, and Autonomic Logistics
Participate in system engineering technical reviews, Airworthiness, service acceptance, DD-250 and LRIP/Lot contract compliance, and configuration review teams
Review and analyze air system change management items (modifications, AR, SPAR, DR, CR) and track through contractor and government approval boards
Assist Systems Engineer in analysis of contractor design documentation and coordinate positions with USAF agencies
Support preparation of Unclassified and Classified F-35A briefings to General Officer level USAF stakeholders
Requirements
Ability to provide onsite support at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH a minimum of 2-3 days per week (onsite may increase to up to 5 days)
Active Secret clearance
High School Diploma/GED
Minimum of 6 years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline
Previous experience in configuration identification, control, audit, and status accounting
Knowledge of DOD configuration management policies, procedures, review cycles, instructions, and standards
Experience with engineering change proposal evaluations
Previous experience with development, production, ancillary equipment, ground support equipment, test & evaluation, and fleet operations of a DoD and international acquisition aircraft program
Experience evaluating Major Variance Requests, Specification Change Notices, Engineering Change Requests/Proposals, Manufacturing Build Records, Sustainment as Maintained Records
Experience providing guidance and assistance in configuration management and change control for Class I (Major) changes and variances
Experience collecting and maintaining process metrics and reporting to ensure compliance with DOD Data Management Program policies and procedures
Travel up to 10% expected
Desired: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
