About the role
- Act as the strategic link between Marketing and Sales, qualifying the maturity of public sector accounts and ensuring that only opportunities with real potential advance to commercial investment.
- Analyze MQLs generated by Market Intelligence and Demand Generation strategies
- Assess the context of the public agency, the motivation behind the interest, and the maturity level of the demand
- Differentiate between curiosity, benchmarking and genuine institutional pain points
- Conduct initial consultative contacts (email, calls, exploratory meetings)
- Perform structured, intelligent follow-ups
- Nurture the account with technical content appropriate to the funnel stage
- Encourage the natural progression of conversations without forcing opportunities
- Identify institutional pains, priorities and challenges
- Map technical stakeholders and decision-makers (when possible)
- Identify possible procurement routes (future public tender, framework agreement, direct award, etc.)
- Record information clearly in the CRM and internal tools
- Recommend whether an account should advance to Commercial Development or return to nurturing
- Participate in alignment rituals with Marketing and Sales
- Protect the commercial team’s time by preventing transfer of immature accounts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Administration, Commercial Management, Digital Marketing or related fields
- Practical experience with CRMs and Spotter (preferred)
- Microsoft Office suite
- Rapport building and consultative approach techniques (basic knowledge of SPIN Selling, MEDDPICC)
- Previous experience with technology companies
- Advantageous: experience with B2G (business-to-government)
- Account-based prospecting
