About the role
- Managing SEA clients of various sizes and industries with a focus on long-term success, as part of a team of currently five other SEAs
- Developing and expanding SEA campaigns (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads: search/text ads, display ads, Shopping ads, YouTube ads) and providing performance consulting
- Designing and implementing tracking concepts (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) and advising on technical matters
- Identifying cross-channel potential and finding the biggest levers for clients
- Collaborating with other online marketers and SEAs in the team and developing creative solutions to increase clients' awareness and success
- Supporting SEA colleagues with challenging SEA questions
- Supporting sales activities (no cold calling!)
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in SEA, including at least 2 years in an agency environment
- Ideally experienced in both B2B and B2C, and with both small and very large budgets
- In-depth online marketing knowledge and long-standing experience in customer relationship management / service quality
- Strong quality awareness with a focus on clients' long-term success
- Deep experience across the full SEA spectrum: Google/Microsoft Ads search/text ads, display ads, Shopping & Performance Max (PMax), YouTube ads, and remarketing
- Strong knowledge of GA4 and Google Tag Manager and experience with reporting tools (Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau are advantageous)
- Experience with server-side tracking or API-based solutions is a plus
- Strong communicator, confident in client-facing situations, and enjoys driving progress together with the team
- Curious, innovation-oriented and eager to try new approaches (e.g., automation, AI-supported methods)
- Excellent spoken and written English — most clients are based in Germany.
