About the role
- Represent the interest of Sentry insureds in defending claims
- Handle caseload of minimally to moderately complex matters up to trial
- Communicate and report to policyholders on litigation progress
- Assist in preparing legal documents such as pleadings and discovery
- Handle full caseload from minimal to highly complex matters as a Senior Trial Attorney
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor Degree
- 2+ years of related work experience
- Experience taking/defending depositions and court appearances
- Valid license to practice law in California in good standing
- Successful ability to deal with conflict and controversy
- Ability to self-manage with minimal oversight
- Bilingual preferred
