About the role

  • Lead and mentor a team of Mobile SDK engineers, fostering collaboration and technical growth
  • Define roadmap and strategy for the Mobile SDK team in collaboration with product teams
  • Drive technical direction to build scalable, reliable, high-quality mobile SDKs
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to integrate SDKs with the Sentry platform
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new engineers
  • Hands-on leadership: combine technical contributions with people management and career development

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on mobile platforms (iOS or Android)
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role
  • Deep understanding of mobile architecture and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with open-source software (preferred)
  • Experience with Sentry's products (preferred)
  • Ability/commitment to work in Vienna office on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday anchor days
