About the role
- Oversee agency sales management while ensuring Agency Sales Managers are supporting key activities and delivering desired messages in their interactions with agencies
- Oversee Agency Sales Managers on agency selection, categorization, suspension, and termination
- Oversee the development and implementation of territory and agency specific plans and programs to contribute to the achievement of agency produced sales and premium objectives
- Oversee the training of independent agents and the negotiation and implementation of agency compensation to achieve sales and premium objectives
- Administer human resource related activities.
- Select, develop, motivate, and recognize staff
- Work with the National Sales Executive and State Product Managers on implementing initiatives that promote profitable growth
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of related work experience with experience as an Agency Sales Manager or Marketing Support Manager
- Communication and human relation skills
- Ability to motivate others
- Experience in developing and executing production plans
- Ability to meet the travel demands of the position and an acceptable motor vehicle record
- Ability to comply with all safety procedures outlined in the leased car safety program located in the Sentry fleet handbook.
