About the role

  • Uphold Sentral’s standards, best practices, policies and procedures, and value of excellence in customer service
  • Establish rapport with residents and guests; serve as first point of contact
  • Prioritize and fulfill resident and guest requests with friendliness, efficiency, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Greet residents by name and provide exceptional hospitality in compliance with quality assurance expectations
  • Resolve disputes promptly aiming for customer satisfaction
  • Promote benefits of living at the property, distribute marketing materials, and provide exemplary service
  • Answer, record, and process calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns
  • Run daily reports, identify special requests, and check reports for accuracy
  • Monitor building access and who comes in and out of premises; manage access using key system technology
  • Maintain atmosphere and cleanliness of entry lobbies and common spaces; stock and inventory refreshment stations
  • Identify potential issues and inform management or take appropriate action
  • Increase resident satisfaction and retention through programming with Director of Services and General Manager
  • Remain knowledgeable of local activities and establishments to offer recommendations and directions
  • Fully comprehend emergency procedures and property evacuation plan; assist emergency crews when needed
  • Store luggage and handle early check-in, late checkout, and other resident requests
  • Assess property and inform maintenance team of repair or cleaning needs; receive and log resident service requests and follow up
  • Assist with administrative duties such as light copying, package management, and special projects
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as needed and assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
  • A minimum of one year of experience working in hospitality or customer service industry required
  • Multifamily experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, via email or text
  • Computer savvy with the capacity to learn and master multiple software systems
  • Ability to analyze, organize, prioritize, and follow up with a strong sense of urgency
  • Active listening skills, strong attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
  • Proactive decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to stand behind a desk for the majority of an 8-hour shift and perform repetitive motions
  • Ability to transport boxes and equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
