About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage our Win/Loss program in partnership with a third-party interview vendor.
- Analyze and synthesize interview findings into clear competitive themes, patterns, and deal-level insights.
- Translate Win/Loss themes into sales plays.
- Deliver regular Win/Loss reporting to Sales leadership, Product, and Marketing.
- Build and maintain AI-assisted research and analysis workflows.
- Develop reusable prompt frameworks for tasks.
- Document and iterate on workflow templates.
- Stay current on AI tooling relevant to competitive intelligence.
- Own battlecard development as a core deliverable.
- Act as a real-time competitive resource for Sales and Sales Engineering during active deals.
- Deliver competitive training and enablement sessions.
- Monitor the competitive landscape across key vendors.
- Synthesize signals from multiple sources into clear, prioritized intelligence.
- Partner with Product Marketing to align competitive positioning with broader messaging and campaigns.
- Collaborate with Product Management to surface competitive gaps.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, product marketing, strategy, or a related field, preferably within cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS.
- Experience with or genuine interest in building a Win/Loss program.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar).
- Strong project management skills.
- Exceptional written communication skills.
- A natural sense of curiosity.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and earn trust with Sales, Product, and Marketing stakeholders.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts (EDR, XDR, MDR, identity security) is a plus, but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
