About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the client's network infrastructure as a Network Administrator.
Manage cybersecurity advisories, vulnerabilities, and remediation activities.
Troubleshoot complex network environments and conduct cybersecurity remediation.
Work on Fortinet networking and security products including firewalls, switches, and analyzers.
Engage in network design, implementation, and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with various teams to ensure network security best practices are followed.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience supporting Fortinet networking and security products.
Strong experience with FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitch, FortiAnalyzer, and related Fortinet technologies.
Minimum of 3 years of experience managing cybersecurity advisories, vulnerabilities, and remediation activities.
Advanced understanding of networking protocols, routing, switching, wireless technologies, and network security best practices.
Experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of disaster recovery, incident response, and business continuity planning.
Previous experience working within local government, municipal, or public sector environments would be preferred.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Occasional after-hours support will be required for maintenance windows, upgrades, and emergency issues.
The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment.
A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required.
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude.
