About the role
- Provide network support and administrative functions for one of Sentinel’s national customers
- Be detailed oriented and have a strong technical background
- Customer oriented responsibilities
- Participate in an on call rotation every 5-6 weeks
- Support required at our Downers Grove, IL headquarters occasionally
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a network engineer or similar role
- CCNA certification is required
- CCNP certification is a plus
- Experience with Cisco, F5, Palo Alto and Meraki is required
- Must have great communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience working with a ticketing system, ServiceNow preferred
- The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
