About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide registered nursing care on the 24-bed Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit
- Care for patients on telemetry monitoring
- Assess patients to determine the next step in their care, including cardiac catheterization, transfer for heart surgery, stress testing, or echocardiography
- Work the third shift (nights) at Sentara Careplex Hospital
- Support care delivery in a Certified Primary Stroke Center and technologically advanced acute care facility
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- NIH stroke scale
- Two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience
- Night shift availability
- 14-week travel assignment
