About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work as a Registered Nurse internal traveler at Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA or Sentara Louise Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA
  • Complete a temporary full-time 14-week assignment on a specific unit
  • Provide acute-care nursing services in assigned specialty units
  • Work assigned day or night shifts across oncology, med/surg, stroke, intermediate care/stepdown, telemetry, labor and delivery, or postpartum units

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
  • Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • ACLS
  • NIH Stroke Scale
  • Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care hospital RN experience
  • For specialty units, 2+ years recent experience in the specialty
  • Availability for multiple shifts as assigned
