About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work as a Registered Nurse internal traveler at Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA or Sentara Louise Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA
- Complete a temporary full-time 14-week assignment on a specific unit
- Provide acute-care nursing services in assigned specialty units
- Work assigned day or night shifts across oncology, med/surg, stroke, intermediate care/stepdown, telemetry, labor and delivery, or postpartum units
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS
- NIH Stroke Scale
- Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care hospital RN experience
- For specialty units, 2+ years recent experience in the specialty
- Availability for multiple shifts as assigned
