About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform competent nursing care using the nursing process
- Assess and admit patients
- Conduct rounding checks
- Administer medications
- Communicate with patients' family members

- Deliver overall care for assigned patients in the Emergency Department

Requirements
What you’ll need- RN Diploma, ADN, BSN or MSN
- Valid RN License to work in the State of Virginia
- ED experience strongly preferred
- RNs with acute care floor nursing experience will be considered
- New graduates will be considered
- Meet and maintain specialty-specific requirements, including ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHH as applicable
- All direct-care RNs must obtain BLS within 90 days of hire
- Possess clinical knowledge and skills appropriate to the clinical area
- Work second shift, 11 AM–11 PM
