About the role
- Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve functional mobility
- Relieve pain and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury
- Provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers
- Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members
- Provide outpatient physical therapy services across listed Sentara Health outpatient centers
Requirements
- Bachelor's of Physical Therapy or Higher
- VA License of Physical Therapy
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Ability to assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs
- Ability to provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers
- Ability to supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members
- Ability to work multiple shifts and at outpatient therapy centers in Southside Hampton Roads
