About the role

  • Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury
  • Provides age appropriate education for clients and caregivers
  • Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members
  • Serve as a Physical Therapist in the Float Pool Acute Care/IRP - PRN for Southside Hampton Roads Hospital locations (Sentara Leigh, Sentara Norfolk General, Sentara Princess Anne, Sentara Va. Beach General, Sentara Obici)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Level Degree or Higher - Physical Therapy
  • VA Physical Therapy License
  • Certifications: BLS
  • Ability to supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members
  • Provide age appropriate education for clients and caregivers
  • Ability to work in an acute care/IRP Float Pool (PRN) across multiple Sentara hospitals (Leigh, Norfolk General, Princess Anne, Va. Beach General, Obici)
