About the role
- Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury
- Provides age appropriate education for clients and caregivers
- Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members
- Serve as a Physical Therapist in the Float Pool Acute Care/IRP - PRN for Southside Hampton Roads Hospital locations (Sentara Leigh, Sentara Norfolk General, Sentara Princess Anne, Sentara Va. Beach General, Sentara Obici)
Requirements
- Bachelor's Level Degree or Higher - Physical Therapy
- VA Physical Therapy License
- Certifications: BLS
- Ability to supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members
- Provide age appropriate education for clients and caregivers
- Ability to work in an acute care/IRP Float Pool (PRN) across multiple Sentara hospitals (Leigh, Norfolk General, Princess Anne, Va. Beach General, Obici)
