Interior Designer II
Sentara HealthInterior Designer II performing design work for Sentara's various businesses including hospitals and corporate offices. Managing projects and delivering design presentations while ensuring compliance with specifications.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Performs interior design work for all Sentara businesses including Corporate, Hospitals, Optima, Life Care, SMG, SE and MPB
- Provides all aspects of the profession; i.e. client meetings, space planning, development of AutoCAD plans, selection and specifications of colors, building finishes, furnishings and fabrics, project coordination, bidding, awarding, and construction administration
- Develops and delivers design presentations to customer
- Develops Space Needs Programs to determine square footage needed and department adjacencies
- Develops budgets for furnishings and construction
- Manages projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor Level Degree (Interior Design)
- Certified Interior Designer preferred
- AutoCAD experience required
- 7 years Commercial Interior Design (or)
- 7 years Construction Administration (or)
- 7 years Develop Construction Documents
