About the role
- Compiling, processing, and maintaining medical records of hospital and clinic patients.
- Supporting the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of patient health records across the healthcare system.
- Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- 2 years of Health Information Services (Required)
- Ability to multitask in a rapidly changing environment and prioritize tasks/functions.
- Work individually and in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills, eye-hand coordination, strong attention to detail, able to solve problems and meet process document standards as established.
- Knowledge of general medical terminology
- EPIC experience is a preferred
