About the role

  • Provides evidence-based education to ED nurses and ED Techs.
  • In the moment education, Onboarding new hires, participation in hospital activities that support community involvement.
  • Work closely with Trauma educator.

Requirements

  • MIN of 5 yrs ED nursing experience REQUIRED
  • Previous experience in a similar role STRONGLY preferred
  • Meets and maintains any requirements defined by specific specialty; Emergency Dept ACLS within 1 year of hire; PALS, All Direct Care RNs required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
  • BSN or higher NURSING degree REQUIRED
  • RN License valid to practice in the State of Virginia
