About the role

  • Responsible for the administration, configuration, and ongoing support of the Jira project management platform
  • Customizes Jira to meet business needs while ensuring system efficiency and security
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams including project managers and software developers
  • Manages Jira projects and workflows, controls user access, and supports integrations with other tools
  • Performs routine maintenance and updates of Jira
  • Provides training and support to end users
  • Generates custom reports and dashboards to support visibility and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Preferred)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with a degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree
  • 2+ years of experience administering, configuring, and supporting Jira in an enterprise environment
  • Hands-on experience setting up and managing Jira projects, workflows, permissions, and user access
  • Experience troubleshooting Jira issues and performing routine system updates and maintenance
  • Ability to create custom reports, dashboards, and metrics to support project and operational needs
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support Agile, Scrum, or similar methodologies
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide training and support to end users.
