About the role
- Responsible for the administration, configuration, and ongoing support of the Jira project management platform
- Customizes Jira to meet business needs while ensuring system efficiency and security
- Works closely with cross-functional teams including project managers and software developers
- Manages Jira projects and workflows, controls user access, and supports integrations with other tools
- Performs routine maintenance and updates of Jira
- Provides training and support to end users
- Generates custom reports and dashboards to support visibility and decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Preferred)
- 3+ years of relevant experience with a degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree
- 2+ years of experience administering, configuring, and supporting Jira in an enterprise environment
- Hands-on experience setting up and managing Jira projects, workflows, permissions, and user access
- Experience troubleshooting Jira issues and performing routine system updates and maintenance
- Ability to create custom reports, dashboards, and metrics to support project and operational needs
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support Agile, Scrum, or similar methodologies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide training and support to end users.
