About the role
- Implement, manage, and automate company technology infrastructure
- Build and maintain an automated and secure environment
- Empower teams to leverage new AI tools and automation scripts
- Implement and manage technical controls for security and compliance; manage IAM and assist in vulnerability management
- Automate manual IT processes like onboarding and access requests
- Monitor and optimize cloud (AWS) and SaaS spend; implement cost-saving measures
- Partner with engineering to establish QA processes and manage core IT infrastructure
- Provide training and support to non-technical users and cross-functional teams
Requirements
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS strongly preferred)
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools
- Proven track record of automating and eliminating manual, repetitive work
- Interest and experience utilizing large language models to automate business processes
- Solid understanding of security principles (IAM, network security, endpoint protection)
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across a wide range of systems and technologies
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills; ability to train non-technical users and partner with other departments
- Minimum Experience: Mid-level
- Legal authorization to work in Canada (application form asks)
